We were a very large group and a last minute reservation. 1 server for our entire group of 38 AND she did amazing!!! We were sat at the back patio. Food came out quick. And it was delicious! If we have another tournament in Michigan, we’re definitely coming back!

Great little spot for dinner and drinks, or just drinks if you're coming from another spot close by. We tried both the BBQ Pork and French Dip sliders. I preferred the pork ones, but they were both delicious. The fish and chips was tasty as well, but we didn't care for the potato wedge version of the chips you see in the pic (the thick cut fries that came with the sliders were better). Check their website for happy hour deals and specials, some of them make you think the year is 1999 again.

This place is known for its burgers but they offer many other great dishes. We had sliders, chicken quesadilla, fried avocadoes, pot roast and cauliflower egg rolls. They also have fresh, delicious salads. Everything was great; we cleaned our plates. I love the beautiful eclectic decor. The restaurant is much bigger than expected. There are three distinct dining areas inside as well an enclosed outside patio and open air eating spaces too. Nice draft beer selection.

This is a cool place. It is a hike from my house away. I come a couple times a year but every time we come, the food is good and the service. If you’re lucky and have a sit by the window sometimes the train will go blowing by you. It is a very cozy atmosphere.

If you are in Ypsilanti, this is a reasonably priced restaurant that is loved by locals in depot town. We had a wonderful late lunch. We had no wait, but the restaurant was quite full. I know dinners often have wait times. It was beautifully decorated for the holidays. And the authentic decor is amazing. There are lots of train-oriented vintage items, as they are literally next to the train tracks. I got the Michigan Harvest salad, and my spouse got a burger and fries. My salad was very basic for a popular salad locally, but everything was fresh and pleasing. My spouse inhaled his burger, and he highly recommends any of the burgers. After his burger was gone, he started on the fries, which are fresh cut. He then asked the server for some malt vinegar for the fries. Not only did she bring that over, she brought him another basket of freshly made fries as they "taste best" that way with malt vinegar! Clearly, the server was very attentive and friendly.

My son from Detroit recommended going to Ypsilanti and walking the area. We decided to eat at the Sidetrack Bar and Grill, and I am glad we did. Rich in decorations and just a classic place to hang out, have a beer and eat a good meal. Great service from start to finish. I had the sliders which were amazing. Our party of 5 enjoyed all our food and we were well taken care of. For dessert, we had the bread pudding, very tasty. If you are touring Ypsilanti and are hungry or thirsty, stop in and enjoy the Sidetrack Bar and Grill.

Beat happy hour in Ypsi! They have great beer deals where you can buy 27oz of two hearted for cheap! They also give you cheaper egg rolls, I highly recommend the Big Mac egg rolls. A good vibe and friendly but not overbearing staff.
